URS is a leading Towage and Salvage Company with a towing history on the river Scheldt and the North Sea going back to 1870. URS provides harbour towage services in the ports of Antwerp, Ghent, Terneuzen, Flushing, Zeebrugge and Ostend.

Salvage has always been an important activity of URS. Specialized salvage teams and dedicated material can deal with every possible casualty such as refloating of grounded or sunken ships, wreck removal, cleaning of oil spills, naval architecture and diving operations.

URS operates 6 sea- and oceangoing tugs for coastal and worldwide towage. These vessels also provide high valuable assistance to offshore installations. On top of that URS updates constantly its know-how in a rapidly changing offshore environment.

These services are provided by about 600 experienced staff and dedicated crews.
