The Belgian “URS Ocean Towage NV” and the German “Fairplay Towage” are operating tugs for more than a century now – in harbours, coastal and European waters as well as on a worldwide basis.

Both companies decided to form the marketing-pool EURO-TUGS, comprising of 8 tugs ranging from 50 to 100 tbp, in order to jointly offer their clients a wider range of suitable equipment to especially optimize on costs for mobilization and demobilization and achieve a higher operational flexibility as well as “back-up” capa- bilities.

Both Fairplay and URS tugs are ISO-, ISM- and ISPS-certified.
